GolfBoard videos
Words only go so far โ the GolfBoard makes most sense when you watch one being ridden. Below are two short films: one showing the board out on the course, and one explaining what it can do for a club. They are the next best thing to a demo.
Surf the earth, shot to shot
This film captures the feel of the board better than any spec sheet. Watch how riders stand naturally on the deck, hold the padded stability bar with one hand, and steer simply by leaning. Notice the smoothness over undulating ground โ that is the Spring Deck and adjustable suspension doing their work โ and how quickly the board comes to a controlled stop when the throttle is released. Even first-time riders look relaxed within a hole or two.
What it means for a golf course
The second film looks at the business side. It explains how a GolfBoard programme can pull in players who might otherwise never set foot on a course, how faster rounds free up tee times, and how a fresh rental stream can lift revenue. If you manage or own a club and are weighing up whether the boards are worth a trial, this is a useful five minutes โ and our closing-down prices make a small starter fleet more affordable than ever.
A little background
Why we still point people to these films
We have shown the GolfBoard to a great many people over the years, and we noticed something early on: a description rarely lands, but a thirty-second clip almost always does. There is a moment, watching someone lean into a gentle turn and glide off down the fairway, when the idea simply clicks. That is why these two short films have stayed on the website right through to the closing-down sale โ they do the explaining far better than we can in writing.
The first film is all feel. It was made to capture the experience of riding rather than to list features, so watch the body language of the riders as much as the board itself. Notice that nobody is bracing or wobbling; the low deck and the padded stability bar make balance almost an afterthought, which is exactly why first-timers settle so quickly. The second film steps back to the bigger picture, and it is the one we tend to send to club managers and proprietors who are weighing up whether a small fleet would earn its keep.
If you would like to see a board in the flesh rather than on screen, do get in touch while there is still stock to look at. We are clearing everything as the business winds down, so the boards in these films really are the ones we are selling โ and once they are gone, they are gone.
One last note on the films themselves: they were made a little while ago, so the surroundings and prices shown belong to that time, but the board you are looking at is exactly the product we are clearing. Nothing fundamental about the ride, the build or the experience has changed. Treat the clips as an honest window onto what it is like to own and ride a GolfBoard, and treat the closing-down sale as your chance to do so for considerably less than these machines once cost.
Before you watch
What to look out for
The riding stance
See how upright and natural riders stand. There is no crouching or balancing act โ the stability bar and low deck do the hard work for you.
The quiet
Listen for what you cannot hear. The electric drivetrain is near-silent, so there is nothing to disturb the calm of the course or the group ahead.
The turf
Watch the tyres on the grass. Even through turns and climbs there is grip without tearing, which is exactly what greenkeepers want to see.
Once you have watched both films, the best next step is a conversation. We can talk you through anything the videos raise, confirm what is still in stock, and arrange delivery anywhere in the UK. With the business closing, the boards you see in these films are the very ones we are clearing.
